Sometimes you hear something at a conference in a conversation in the corridors that suddenly resonates strongly with you and has your full attention. That happened to me about 15 years ago at a health seminar.
During the break I spoke to a lady, unfortunately I don't remember her name, who had come across a new technology in Germany that only requires a 'headphone' (biophoton trigger sensor) on the head to be reliable and with great accuracy, balance, could measure imbalance and stress load throughout the body.
I had already been working on facilitating vitality, well-being and growth of consciousness in organizations for about 10 years. Including heart coherence training, where I can directly observe the effect of stress regulation techniques on the heart rhythm on a screen with a biofeedback system. Very cool, but being able to scan the entire body with just headphones fascinated me even more and at the same time raised a lot of questions.
The Being in Balance technology
Ultimately I ended up with the manufacturer of this technology, a family business from Hamburg, Germany. To my surprise, about 600 'Heilpraktiker' (equivalent of the Dutch naturopath) and about 300 regular doctors were already using this technology, especially in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The first developments of this Being in Balance technology were done at Stanford Medical for the American army and later by the Russians for both their elite troops in the army and for their cosmonauts. The wish was to develop a system for their cosmonauts that can detect any imbalance in the body even before it has physically manifested itself. After all, getting a sick astronaut back from space is very expensive.
All in all, 50 years of research and development have led to the creation of this system, a multi-billion dollar project. It is all the more special that this technology in the form of Being in Balance coaching is now also available in the Netherlands for private individuals, professionals in organizations and for top athletes who want to take their health, performance and well-being to a higher level.
My first Body & Mind Scan
When I was scanned for the first time myself 15 years ago, I thought it was quite exciting. I slept extremely poorly at that time and the Body & Mind Scan soon showed that this had to do with childhood trauma. When I was 3, my parents separated after 20 years of marriage and I ended up with my brother and 2 of my sisters in a children's home in Heel in Limburg. That was very traumatic. Ironic too: suffering an abandonment trauma in 'Heel'.
The English word 'heal' comes from 'whole'. Just like the Dutch word 'holy' used to be 'helig': or someone who is holy is a person who is 'Whole' again! For me, that day began the journey to become whole again at a deep level, far beyond the trauma. By working with the scan, this process gained enormous momentum.
In that first Being in Balance Body & Mind Scan, the sources of stress and imbalances emerged flawlessly in detail and in 1.5 hours I received insights and starting points that I had not received in years. That was the point where I thought 'this is super cool', I want to help a lot of people with this.
Long story, short: My company eventually became a supplier of this technology and I developed Being in Balance coaching as a method based on this quantum technology. Not knowing that a great adventure awaited me full of ups and downs, a real 'bumpy ride'! Because working with a method that is extremely 'disruptive' makes a lot of difference to people, including those in my environment and field.
Quantum physics
Yet more and more coaches and researchers, including in the scientific world, are open to quantum physics and quantum computers, for example. From the perspective of quantum physics, everything is energy, information and consciousness. Einstein, Niels Bohr and modern quantum physicists such as David Böhm, Karl Pribram, Burkhard Heim and Anton Zeilinger speak of an information field connected by mind and matter.
For example, quantum science has discovered that every body cell and every organ is, as it were, a kind of 'Wi-Fi' station that transmits and receives information from other body parts. Each organ has a unique frequency, just like a radio transmitter. By comparing the received frequencies with reference values from the extensive database, the Being in Balance technology allows us to see whether an organ is in or out of balance and whether, for example, there is a stress load.

During the Body & Mind Scan, which only takes a few minutes, you will see energy values and energy curves of your body. After scanning, the Being in Balance coach uses the information from the scan and the actual coaching begins.

Important in this regard are of course the results to which Being in Balance coaching has been able to contribute: AZ won the KNVB Cup, PSV won the national championship three times, at Philips the participants with long-term absenteeism were back to work for 60% on average after 3 months and at PwC we saw an average 50% vitality increase after 100 days.
