Where do you come from?

Thanks to my extensive experience as a Mensendieck exercise therapist (since 2004), I have provided at least 30,000 treatments in the field of dealing with pain, stress and increasing resilience in children from 8 to adults from 88 years old. Because I like to look off the beaten track, I have further developed as a massage therapist, yoga pilates teacher and Heartmath therapist. Biofeedback (scientific measuring methods) has always been part of my treatments. My patients have also given me a broader view of health. When I ended up in a difficult medical process (breast cancer) in 2017-2019, my personal search for healing gave me even more insights. Especially the impact of our mindset, nutrition, energy and everything we consume. I also realized how important it is to unite medical and complementary care. As a Highly Sensitive Person, all this has also led me to be vegan, avoid lactose, gluten and refined sugars and pursue a lifestyle that is as natural and toxic-free as possible. In addition to having done various research in luxury wellness resorts, I have also developed over the past 10 years as a Sound Vibrational Therapist and I am a big fan of the use of essential oils. I see myself as a Multi-focus Therapist in which I combine medical insights with wellness.

Where are you now?

The vision of my practice NEWWAVES LIFESTYLE is to create a healthier world and empower people to fulfill their greatest potential with knowledge and self-understanding. My mission is to create a movement of powerful people who live happy, relaxed and vital lives. To look more broadly at complaints, to delve into limited beliefs and unresolved traumas and to reconnect people with their hearts and passions. This creates opportunities to create and manifest for the future, with the intention of achieving a sustainable effect in which:

  • Healing comes from within and that body, brain, stomach and heart are connected
  • Mindfulness and heartfulness (the inner compass) help you find strength, peace and confidence
  • Optimization of health in addition to any medication or medical interventions is possible by joining forces
  • My vision of 'medical wellness' helps to use multiple senses for relaxation because I know from experience that this is the basis for optimal recovery.

Where are you going?

The Being-in-Balance scan and coaching method is the ideal way to make stress sources visible on various fronts. A great tool that allows you to tackle problems from the source. I want to work with doctors and specialists who see this as a supplement to their own expertise for the benefit of the “patient” and are open to primary and secondary prevention. I would like to continue to broaden my knowledge and successfully guide people who dare to look further, because there are always more roads that lead to Rome.
 

My personal mission: 

My life quote is: “turn difficult roads into a beautiful destination”. I wish that for every person. You can learn from every difficult situation, gain strength and come out stronger as long as you have the right focus. We can often do more than we think! I am happy to pass on this knowledge. In addition, I want to continue to do my 'work' with love and enthusiasm and hope that my contribution makes people, the world and nature a little more beautiful.
